Accommodations
Reed College offers a variety of residence hall accommodations. The 14 residence halls are within six distinctive building designs varying in size, atmosphere and purpose. Guest houses are also available.
Room options include:
-
Singles
-
Doubles (Most are divided doubles; 2 rooms, separated by a wall or door, giving each guest his/her own private room)
-
Triples
All residence halls have social rooms, full or partial kitchens and coin-operated laundry rooms. Internet connection is via the room's phone line. Each residence hall is secured by swipe card access, and each room has key entry.
Each room has a bed, desk and chair, telephone jacks, a dresser, and a closet or wardrobe. Pets are not allowed. There is an optional per-week linen fee which includes pillow and pillow case, two sheets, blanket, top sheet, two towels, two washcloths, soap, cup, and paper towels. Linen is exchanged weekly for those staying longer than one week. Emergency linens and toiletry items can be checked out from the dorm host. We recommend guests bring hangers and a clock. Guests may rent fans during their stay; air conditioning is not available in any residence hall. Guests may also rent a phone. Rentable items are subject to availability.
The residence halls have access for those with disabilities. If you have special housing needs of any type, please call the Conference and Events Planning office at 503-777-7577 for assistance.
Many rooms offer outstanding views of Portland's west hills, downtown, or Reed canyon natural area. Please click on a residence hall below to view photos.
